On October 17, the I (district) stage of the city tournament of young physicists was held at the RBECS faculty. The tournament was attended by teams of 9 schools of the Kholodnogorsk region. The jury of the tournament was made up of teachers, staff, graduate students and senior students of the faculty RBECS. In particular, the jury consisted of Ph.D., Associate Professor Rybin ON, Ph.D., Associate Professor Degtyarev AV, Ph.D. , Associate Professor Berest V.P., Ph.D., Associate Professor Bagatskaya O.V., Ph.D., Associate Professor Kaliberda M.E., Ph.D. . Light M.N., Junior Researcher Shtoda D.A. The leaders of the tournament were also representatives of our faculty, graduate student Khrychov VS and students of the 5th year Pisklova P.V. and Kalambet M.S.

According to the results of the tournament:

• I place was taken by the team of the Kharkov gymnasium №13
• II place was taken by the team of the Kharkov gymnasium №152
• III place was shared by the team of secondary school I-III stages №126 and the team of specialized school I-III stages №87

The best researcher was a student of secondary school I-III steps №126 Dyomina Elena, and the best opponent and reviewer was the captain of the team of Kharkov gymnasium №13 Petrenko Oksana.
The above-mentioned schools and pupils were awarded diplomas from the Department of Education of the Kholodnogorsky District of the Kharkiv City Council.
The chairmen of the jury reported that all the tournament participants were invited to visit the faculty of RBECS during the open day on November 4 at 11-00. At the same time, participants of the tournament will be awarded diplomas from the faculty, and the best participants of this tournament and tournament of young inventors and innovators will be awarded special diplomas and prizes from the jury.
