Student scientific society

The Department of Space Radiophysics has been running a student scientific group
“Modern Space Radiophysics” for many years, bringing together students from the 2nd to 6th years of study.

The group unites students interested in modern problems of space radiophysics, remote sensing of near-Earth space,
propagation of electromagnetic waves, and studies of processes in geospace.

The scientific supervision is provided by leading researchers of the department, ensuring a high level of training
and active involvement of students in актуальні scientific research.

Participants of the group are actively engaged in research activities: during the last year alone, they have delivered
around 15 presentations at international English-language conferences and published about 10 scientific papers
in professional journals indexed in international scientometric databases, including Scopus
(Advances in Space Research, Kinematics and Physics of Celestial Bodies, etc.).

The group’s work contributes to the development of research skills, scientific thinking, and prepares students
for further academic and professional careers in radiophysics and space research.
