December 23, 2021 at the Physics and Technology Institute for Low Temperatures. B.I. Verkin National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine {https://ilt.kharkov.ua/bvi/index_e.html} (Kharkiv, prospect Nauki, 47) will host the International Scientific Seminar “JWST: a worthy replacement for a legend”, organized by ISMA OPTICA Student Chapter supported by OPTICA .

- 11: 00-11: 30 registration
- 11: 30-11: 40 welcome speech
- 11: 40-12: 20 lecture “Telescopes of the fourth generation and the beginning of a new era of observational astronomy” (speaker – associate professor of V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University Ivan Slyusarev)
- 12: 20-13: 00 lecture “Multiwave Astronomy” (speaker – junior researcher of the Radio Astronomy Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Anastasia Skorik)
- 13: 00-13: 10 joint photo with the participants of the event
- 13: 10-13: 40 coffee break with goodies
- 13: 40-14: 20 lecture “Career start: Scientific society of Optica” (speaker – OPTICA Ambassador Natalia Misko-Krutik)
- 14: 20-14: 30 closing ceremony
