RBECS Faculty Student Awarded the Prestigious DAAD “Zukunft für Ukraine” Scholarship

We congratulate Valeriia Bessarabova, a second-year Master’s student of the RBECS Faculty, on successfully winning the competitive selection for the prestigious DAAD “Zukunft für Ukraine” (“Future for Ukraine”) scholarship.

The “Research Grants for the Future of Ukraine” program, funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), provides Ukrainian Master’s students and early-career researchers with an opportunity to undertake short-term research placements at leading universities and research institutions in Germany.

The program aims to support the scientific activities of Ukrainian universities, strengthen international academic cooperation, and create opportunities for the professional development of young researchers who will contribute to the reconstruction of Ukraine and the advancement of its science in the future.

Following the results of the competitive selection process, Valeriia has been officially recommended for funding. She will undertake a six-month research stay in Germany starting in August 2026.

We sincerely congratulate Valeriia on this significant achievement and wish her every success in implementing her research project, achieving new scientific accomplishments, developing fruitful international collaborations, and proudly representing our Faculty and Ukrainian science on the international stage.
