On October 20, a profile event for IT education took place – IT Ukraine Education Summit 2022. The event reached over 2,000 stakeholders, and gathered over 500 online participants and 29 speakers.
IT Ukraine Education Summit 2022 – it is a unique platform for interesting educational discussions with highly qualified IT industry experts, representatives of the state, business and educational institutions. Speakers from well-known IT companies, such as SoftServe, Sigma Software, ERAM, GlobalLogic, educational institutions KSE, DAN.IT Education, Mate Academy, STEM school INVENTOR, SET University, Ukrainian Catholic University, Kharkiv National University shared their experience, knowledge and forecasts. V.N. Karazin University, National University named after Taras Shevchenko, the Ministry of Science and Education of Ukraine, representatives of regional IT clusters and many others.
In a panel discussion “Practical tools for improving the quality of higher education (experience of Teachers Internship project participants)” the speaker was the head of the department of molecular and medical biophysics of our faculty, Volodymyr Berest, who shared his experience of organizing high-quality training of future IT specialists at the RBEKS faculty within the framework of non-canonical computer specialties: 105 Applied physics and nanomaterials (educational program “Radiophysics, biophysics and computer systems”) and 153 Micro- and nanosystem engineering (educational program “Biomedical electronics and computer systems”). In particular, it was emphasized the need for the formation of project thinking among students, a problem-oriented model approach to solving professional problems, the positive experience of involving FRBEKS students in the implementation of R&D projects.
