Staff members and postgraduate students of the Department of Microwave, Quantum and Space Radiophysics at the Faculty of Radiophysics, Biomedical Electronics and Computer Systems of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University presented their research findings at the international conference 2026 IEEE 7th KhPI Week on Advanced Technology.

Konstantin Muntean, a postgraduate student of the Department, presented a paper entitled “Measuring laser beam spatial parameters by using a small-format CMOS-camera”. The authors are Konstantin Muntean, Mykola Dubinin, and Vjacheslav Maslov.

Mstyslav Kaliberda, Head of the Department, presented a paper entitled “Neural-network surrogate modeling of EM wave scattering by multilayer graphene strip gratings using large database”. The authors are Mstyslav Kaliberda, Sergey Pogarsky, Dmytro Mayboroda, Maksym Legenkiy, and Viktoriia Lunova.

The presented papers demonstrate the breadth of the Department’s research, ranging from optical measurements to modern machine learning methods applied to electrodynamics.
