On March 24, 2021, the international society SPIE approved the creation of a new student structure based on our university, links . Today, this is the sixth active student SPIE cell in Ukraine and the second in Kharkov (next to the A.Ya. Usikov Institute of Radiophysics and Electronics). The established cell opens up new opportunities for students and young scientists in the field of development and scientific activity, in particular, access to scientific journals, educational courses, individual and travel grants, financing of educational, scientific and educational events, and the like. The student cell included students of our faculty, headed by the president of SNT, a student of the RB-31 group Andrey Bulovoy.
