Yesterday at our faculty a seminar for students and post-graduate students under the name”Student workshop on modern physics: Flatland Optics and Extreme Light” was held.The seminar was organized with the support of Swedish Foundation for International Cooperation in Research and Higher Education STINT.
In the framework of the seminar representatives of the University of Uppsala conducted lectures on photonics and workshops on academic mobility.

After the plenary section, students and graduate students had an opportunity to present their work in an informal atmosphere in the form of posters and reports.


Representatives of Uppsala University selected the best 5 reports among the speakers. The first place was taken by the student of our faculty, Marina Yushkova (group PP-61). She was awarded by a grant for a trip to Uppsala University with a guided tour. The other four participants: Akhmedov Rolan (graduate student of our faculty), Malovitsa Maxim, Kochetova Lyudmila (graduate of our faculty) and Shevelev Nikita (student of our faculty, group PP-66) received souvenirs.
