On October 15, the I (district) stage of the city tournament of young physicists was held at the faculty of RBECS. The tournament was attended by teams of 8 schools of the Kholodnogorsk district. The jury of the tournament was composed of teachers, staff, graduate students and senior students of the faculty of RBECS. In particular, the jury consisted of Ph.D., associate professor Khardikov V.V., Ph.D., associate professor Bagatskaya O.V., Ph.D., Associate Professor Sichevska L.V., Ph.D., Associate Professor Kaliberda M.E., Ph.D. Legenkiy M.N., senior lecturer Medvedev N.V. and others. Leading the tournament were also representatives of our faculty graduate student V. Khrichov and 3rd year students Skripnichenko Y. and Pertsov A.
According to the results of the tournament:

• I place was taken by the team of Kharkov gymnasium No. 152
• II place was taken by the team of the school of I-III levels No. 126
• III place was taken by the team of the school of I-III levels No. 87.

The above schools were awarded with diplomas from the Department of Education of the Kholodnogorsk District of the Kharkov City Council.
The chairmen of the jury thanked the participants for an interesting and dedicated struggle and informed that the team members from the jury of this tournament would be awarded soon, as well as tournament of young inventors and innovators.
