At the faculty there are two special council for the defense of thesis:
- Сouncil D 64.051.02 for the degree of doctor and candidate of sciences
on specialties:- 01.03.02 – astrophysics, radioastronomy(passport of specialty)
- 01.04.01 – physics of devices, components and systems(passport of specialty)
- 01.04.03 – radiophysics(passport of specialty)
- Сouncil D 64.051.13 дor the degree of doctor and candidate of sciences
on specialty 03.00.02 — biophysics (passport of specialty)
