In Lviv, there was a “final of four” championship of Ukraine in futsal for the 2018/2019 season among higher educational institutions. The team of our university, after last year’s victory, this year took second place. In the first semi-final, the team of our university confidently won with a score of 8:1. In the final game of the tournament, the main time did not reveal the winner (4:4), and our opponents from Lviv performed the penalty more successfully (3:2).
Students of our faculty Daniel Abakshin (group RR-44), Evgeny Pugach (group RR-22), Vladislav Mospan and Dmitry Knigin (group RR-31), as well as former student of our faculty Maxim Panishev, became silver winners of the student championship of Ukraine.

In August, teams of the National University “Lviv Polytechnic” and the V.N.Karazin Kharkiv National University will represent our country at the 2019 European Student Championship in Braga, Portugal.
