Congratulations to the student team of the University. V.N. Karazin in futsal, which defeated the team of Sumy State Pedagogical University with a score of 5: 0 in the final of the Ukrainian Championship among higher educational institutions. With this, she received the right to represent Ukraine at the European Student Games in 2021. The university team included 6 students of our faculty: Zimievsky Yaroslav, Pugach Evgeny, Terentyev Ilya, Mospan Stanislav, Mospan Vladislav, Maslennikov Anton.
Two more of our students – Daniil Abakshin and Yaroslav Lebed at the same time played for the Ukrainian national futsal team (matches with Denmark and Albania) for the right to qualify for the EURO-22 final. Note that it was our students who scored as much as a third of the goals of the Ukrainian national team in two matches (5 out of 15).
