Congratulations to Maria Antyufeeva on receiving the IEEE Region 8 Clementina Saduwa Award!

The award recognizes women scientists who, through their scientific, volunteer and career achievements, have demonstrated significant support for women in the profession and have overcome significant difficulties along the way.

Maria Antyufeeva has been the chairperson of various IEEE conferences for many years, was the chairperson of the technical chapter of the Ukrainian Section of the IEEE, is a member of the Board of Directors of the IEEE EMC Society, where she takes care of the direction of women in engineering (IEEE WIE).

The award ceremony took place at the gala dinner of the IEEE Region 8 Committee Meeting with the participation of Antonio Luque, IEEE Region 8 Director and Saifur Rahman, IEEE President-Elect.

The nominee was Ievgen Pichkalov, IEEE Ukraine Section Chair, recommendations were provided by Alistair Duffy, IEEE EMC Society Past President and Oleksandr Dumin, IEEE Ukraine Section (Kharkiv) Chapter Chair.
